Taking CBD to Feel Better

Could CBD be the key to you feeling better than you do now?

A new study entitled, “Circulating Endocannabinoids: From Whence Do They Come and Where are They Going?” seems to think so.

In the study, researchers point out that our endocannabinoid signaling system is involved in numerous diseases and disorders. For example, hyperactivity of endocannabinoid signaling contributes to excessive intake and storage of high-calorie foods, while endocannabinoid hypoactivity is a risk factor for the development of depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

The good news is that CBD, or Cannabidiol, stimulates the endocannabinoid system to produce its own cannabinoids.

These cannabinoids then act to restore the balance in areas where you may be experiencing difficulties – like sleep, mood, temperature control, immune response, pain and pleasure perception, fertility, memory, and appetite.

CBD extracts’ effects differ – even contradict – depending on your body’s needs. For instance, your brain will be more active during the day, so you may notice a clearer head and more energy.

The opposite will be true at night, with many people using CBD as a sleep aid or for general relaxation during inactive periods.

Overall, CBD can be either relaxing or stimulating, depending on what your brain and body need. Regardless, you won’t notice any physical or mental impairment like THC produces, you well only feeling better.
